7 Things That Can Send A Blogger In A Downward Spiral

Suffer from low blood pressure.
Suffer from high blood pressure.
Suffer from severe migraine headaches.
Be afflicted with the cold or the flu.
Thankfully, there are remedies for the afflictions that were mentioned above; such as:
Low blood pressure can be alleviated by consuming more salt (an increase in a person’s sodium intake can raise their blood pressure), drinking more water (an increase in one’s water consumption can help boost their blood volume) and crossing legs while sitting (Crossing one’s legs while sitting helps to increase their blood pressure).
High blood pressure can be eased by consuming less salt (since high sodium levels are associated with hypertension), reducing stress (excessive worry is known to wreak havoc in the mind and body) and exercising regularly (Studies have shown that engaging in physical activity for thirty minutes a day can lower one’s blood pressure).
Migraine headaches can be cured by consuming small doses of caffeine (this can be done in the form of drinking a caffeinated beverage), by not skipping meals (since fasting has the potential of increasing one’s risk of migraines) and exercising regularly (The body releases endorphins whenever we exercise for thirty minutes and over; which helps to make us feel good as well as alleviating the pain that is associated with a migraine headache).
The cold or the flu can be remedied by taking antioxidants; such as vitamins A, E and C (antioxidants are known to boost the immune system), getting an adequate amount of sleep (sleep helps to expedite the healing process) and the consumption of lots of liquid (Liquid consumption keeps our respiratory system hydrated; which transforms the thick mucus into a thin liquid; thus making it easier for us to cough up and spit out).
Dear friend, those are merely some examples of afflictions that we can cure.
I would like to state for the record, that it would be wise to visit your doctor whenever you are sick because they would advise you on the most appropriate action to take; thus expediting your recovery process.
I have always said to my fellow bloggers, “There is no blog without you!” Therefore, it is imperative that you take excellent care of yourself.
One should never take their health for granted!
2.) No Electronic Device To Blog On
One of the worst things that a blogger can face is having no electronic device to blog on.
Laptop computers, desktop computers, smartphones and tablets do not last forever (They eventually end up going badly or they stop working).
Bloggers who are faced with the situation of having no electronic devices to blog on are free to do the following things:
Purchase a new electronic device.
Borrow a laptop computer from a friend or a family member.
Visit an internet cafe.
Send their electronic device to a technician to be repaired.
Luckily, the average person owns secondary electronic devices; such as a smartphone or tablet (Or better yet, both).
It would be wise for bloggers to learn how to go about blogging on their smartphones or their tablets whenever they are experiencing technical difficulties with their laptop computer or their desktop computer.
In my case, I have learned how to conduct my blogging affairs with my Android smartphone.
The good news is that there are mobile applications for most of the popular blogging platforms.
3.) Low Or No Zeal For Blogging
Having a low or no zeal for blogging is a very bad thing for a blogger because it can lead to them abandoning their blog.
A person can always maintain their zeal for blogging by doing the following things:
Publishing topics on their blog that they are genuinely interested in.
Interacting with their blogging community on a regular basis (Which would inspire them to keep on blogging).
Remembering what it is that inspired them to blog.
By not burning themselves out (A lot of overzealous bloggers tend to burn themselves out by the very act of posting content on their blog on a daily basis; they need to know that everyone is not the same and that they can benefit greatly by posting content on their blog less often).
By not forcing yourself to follow too many blogs (Please keep in mind, that it is almost impossible to follow everyone who follows your blog; especially when you have a huge quantity of followers).
By not biting off more than you can actually chew in the figurative sense (You struggle with putting long-form content together when in fact, you are only capable of producing short-form content).
In most instances, you will always maintain your zeal for blogging by adopting the commonsense approach to blogging.
4.) Not Knowing What They Are Getting Themselves Into
A large percentage of people jumped into blogging without ever knowing what is required of them; they are ignorant of the following things:
How to compose a high-quality blog post.
How to proofread their content effectively.
How to edit their blog posts.
How to go about promoting their blog posts.
The God’s/Goddess’s truth is that people can invest their time in learning the above things.
It would be nonsensical to attempt to drive a car or fly an aeroplane without learning how to operate those mechanical devices (The same thing applies to blogging).
So, my friend, it is always wise to get the upper hand by knowing exactly what the blogging process comprises of.
5.) Running Out Of Ideas
Some bloggers are known to cut their blogging short due to a lack of ideas (The irony is that the mind is capable of coming up with an infinite number of ideas).
My article, 10 Ways To Come Up With Topics For Your Blog , will provide you with some great pointers.
Dear friend, never get yourself caught up in the trap of believing that you are unable to come up with ideas for your blog.
Matthew, chapter 9, verse 29 of the Holy Bible, stipulates, “According to your faith, be it done unto you.”
Simply believe in your ability to come up with new ideas for your blog (It is not imperative for a person to be highly religious or spiritual in order for that to become a reality because atheists are capable of doing the same thing; due to the fact that it is a universal truth).
6.) Conflicting Information
Currently, there is lot of conflicting information about blogging on the world wide web; such as:
You must always keep your blog posts short and sweet.
You must always publish long-form content on your blog.
You need to join a whole heap of social media networks in order for your blog to be successful.
Blogging is dead.
There will always be readers who appreciate blog posts that are short and sweet.
There will always be readers who possess a deep appreciation for long-form content.
You can focus your attention on promoting the links to your blog post on two or three of the popular social media networks (It is not imperative to join every social media network underneath the sun).
Blogging is very much alive and a lot of the YouTube vloggers have blogs of their own.
Always take blogging advice with a proverbial grain of salt because what works for one blogger may not necessarily work for you.
7.) Selling Out
Unfortunately, some bloggers have joined the dark side of blogging by selling out.
Bloggers sell themselves out by engaging in the following types of behaviour:
Promoting products that they have never tried or they do not believe in (Most of the time, they are only concerned about getting paid for publishing those blog posts).
By participating in a niche that they have no genuine interest in.
Blogging solely for the purpose of Search Engine Optimization and ignoring people — the human beings who actually read their blog.
Never join the dark side of blogging because you will end up sabotaging your blog (It would be here today and gone tomorrow).
Selling out is not an option for an authentic blogger!
Final Thoughts
Bloggers who got themselves caught up in the proverbial slump can find themselves out of it (Those bloggers must desire a way out and know fully well that there is a way out).
Never give up, my friend. There is always hope for you and your blog.
The ball is in your court; so play the blogging game wisely!
